Named after a "malevolent supercomputer" from an early episode. The system was donated by User:sjh and User:Pert following a very successful bit of dumpster diving. It originally contained dual -48V (telco style) PSUs but now has two 500W 240V modules.

Configuration

  • Intel TIGPR2U
  • CPUs: 2 x Xeon 2.4GHz (with HT)
  • RAM: 6GB (Thanks very much to aC!)
  • Disks: 2 x Segate ST373207LC
  • OS: Debian Linux (lenny (with etch's xen kernel))

Hosting

WOTAN is now in the rack and is the primary Xen host.
