Router (soon)
Other Information:

King is in the process of being commissioned as Tardis' router, along with Ace. Currently it has no installed OS, but will soon be running Debian Lenny.

King (formerly skaro) is a Sun Netra T1 AC200 donated by Charles Leahy (charles). It's a 1U UltraSparc IIe box with 768MB of RAM and two 10K Seagate 36GB Cheetahs. It is also one of the few machines in our rack which is installed with the correct rackmounting kit.

King currently has a strange network hardware setup in that it appears to have an 8139 compatible NIC along with two sungem interfaces. Attempting to load kernel modules for the sungem interfaces causes a kernel panic - possibly the sungem NICs are damaged.
