Midnight has been put into service as the router from 29/10/10. Its dns was changed to ace in order to make the transition easier.


Needs RAID rebuilding at boot. Someone needs to sort mdadm config out...


Midnight has 2x146GB Seagate Cheetahs, set up in RAID 1. Installing the system required a few tricks - the partitions had to start from the end of the disk, and the system needs to be rebooted during the install *before* setting up SILO in order to reload the partition information.
